1. What we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us:

• Account information: email address and authentication details through our auth provider.
• Profile information: name, optional birth data (date, time, place), and any human-design or chart details you add.
• Quiz results: love-language scores, attachment-style results, and related reflections.
• AI conversations: the messages you type in the private Talk space and the responses you receive.
• Partner interactions: shared rituals, insights you send, invite codes, and couple-linking status.
• Usage data: anonymized app interactions used only to improve stability and experience.

2. How we use AI

Higher Love uses AI to help you reflect, reframe, and communicate more kindly. The AI may see the data categories you have enabled in your privacy controls — such as your love language, attachment style, mood, and conversation content — so it can offer relevant, personalized guidance.

You decide what the AI may use. You can pause or disable categories at any time. AI outputs are suggestions, not advice, and are never a substitute for professional therapy or counseling.

3. Partner data and sharing

Your partner only sees what you explicitly choose to share. By default:

• Quiz results and profile highlights can be shared when you enable them.
• Raw AI conversation content is never shown to your partner word for word.
• Insights you generate from a conversation are only sent if you review and confirm them.
• Shared rituals and answers become visible to both partners only when both have submitted.

Your partner is told which categories you share — never the specific details you choose to keep private.

4. Conversation storage and privacy

Your private Talk conversations are stored securely and tied to your account. They are used to generate personalized insights and to maintain your continuous chat history. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them with third parties.

You can clear your Talk history at any time. Cleared messages are removed from your active account and are not used for future insights.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and authenticated access controls. Your data is stored in a managed backend with role-based access rules. While we take security seriously, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete much of your data directly in the app. You may also request a full export or deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of Higher Love after changes means you accept the revised policy.
